Required due to the success of an existing farm shop needing to expand from very restricted premises, the L shaped scheme forms an open courtyard with the existing Listed shop building.

Rather than imitating the vernacular of the existing building the approach is to make a structure which is more akin to modern farm buildings, with a metal roof and timber cladding which will patinate over time.
